"Under the Moon of Love" was a popular hit single by Showaddywaddy.
Written by Tommy Boyce and Curtis Lee and produced by Phil Spector in 1961 for Curtis Lee, "Under the Moon of Love" was a minor hit in the U.S. reaching #46 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
Fifteen years later the song was revived by rock and roll revival act Showaddywaddy, and became a major hit in the UK. The Mike Hurst-produced version went on to spend three weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart in December 1976.
